Home + Neighborhood
We live, with our dog Lucy, in a suburb of NYC. Lucy, the unofficial mayor of the street, greets children playing in their yards during our walks in the neighborhood. We are already envisioning pushing a stroller with Lucy to the playground, pool, and beach. Right around the corner is a pond where we feed the ducks and watch the geese enjoy a swim over to the bay. A spectacular nature preserve is close by where Lucy can be offleash or where we can meet friends there to hang at the beach.
We both work hybrid schedules so someone is always home. We live close to NYC and take the train for a trip in when we want to do something extra special. Otherwise, you can usually find us eating and hanging in town with friends (Corey loves checking out the old-fashioned ice cream parlor by the town dock when it's open during the summer) or exploring other nearby towns with Lucy.
On many weekends, you can find us at our home out east on the beach. It's a peaceful retreat just waiting for a little one to run through the yard, swim in the pool, and count all the deer!
